1992 As many photographers —old salt or novices— I used to make my own greeting cards, but, due to my specificity, mine soon became fractal cards. Unfortunately I did not keep all of these short-lived works, either because my earliest computers closed like oisters on their hard disks at the end of their age, either maybe, more simply, because I was not careful enough with my early archives...
So, what remains of the story begins in 1992, in the days of
the Amiga, with a rather primitive technique. This picture actually comes
from a slide photography of a 1024x768 screen, when the Mandelbrot set and
its close relatives were at their apogee.
